Stan
Stersen, a life long resident of Baltimore with roots in
Fells Point, Canton and Essex, has maintained that
strong local community based businesses are the backbone
of a sustainable society. Stan created the Enviro Center
in order to “surround ourselves with people committed to
providing our children and grandchildren with the legacy
of a sustainable future of clean air, clean water and
clean energy.” His company Architectural Support Group,
Inc. specializes in building commissioning services,
especially as related to LEED, QA/QC monitoring,
ensuring that new buildings are built and perform as
designed, as well as assisting owners of existing
buildings in ameliorating problems and conducting
reserve studies.
Stan received his Bachelor of Architecture from the
University of Maryland in 1978, specializing in
environmental design, solar engineering, and structural
engineering. He is a licensed Architect in MD, PA and VA
and is a National Council of Architectural Review Board
(NCARB) certificate holder. He earned the Reserve
Specialist (RS) designation from Community Associations
Institute in 1998 and the Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
Certification from the US Green Building Council in 2002
and is a member of the US Green Building Council and the
Baltimore Chapter of the Business Alliance for Local
Living Economies.

services for businesses and individuals to become more
environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and healthy.
Anca is a
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
accredited professional and is on the Board of the Green
Building Instiute. She recently finished co-authoring a
book to help businesses get started on the path to
sustainability, entitled ‘Sustainability 101: A Toolkit
for your Business’. |

W. Foresman, PhD, is President of the International
Centre for
Remote Sensing Education. He has been director of United
Nations Environment Programme’s Division of Early
Warning and Assessment (Nairobi, Kenya) and national
program manager for NASA’s Digital Earth (Washington,
D.C.). He is editor of The History of Geographic
Information Systems, 1998, Prentice Hall. Dr. Foresman
was the Director-General for the 5th International
Symposium on Digital Earth. Dr. Tim Foresman PhD, is
author of the illustrated children's book, The Last
Little Polar Bear

Jesse
Bunch, a Montgomery County native, is the Director of
Green consulting for The EverGreen™Home. He has been
focused on the benefits of sustainable technologies for
the earth for over a decade.
In the early 1990’s, Mr. Bunch managed the recycling and
resale of used computer equipment, including the
recycling of several thousand lottery terminals in
Maryland, Minnesota, and New York.
In response to the energy crisis of the 1970’s, Jesse
invented and was awarded 7 US patents relating to solar
energy concentrators: patents - 1975 to 1990. He is
currently working on a patent application that has solar
energy applications as well. Jesse overseas The
EverGreen Home's Green Team, which provides products and
services to homeowners and business interested in being
more sustainable.

She has promoted the company's organic, shade grown, and
Fair Trade coffees throughout the country and has been a
guest speaker at Whole Foods, where The EverGreen™ Home
coffee is sold. Sonia is on the Stakeholder's Committee
for Montgomery County's upcoming Green Business
Certification program, under the County's Department of
Environmental Protection. Her commitment to the
principals of sustainable business practices has awarded
The EverGreen™ Home the privilege of being a member of
Green America's Green Business Network. |
